# ProveIT Terms of Service

ProveIT is a media authentication platform for capturing photos and videos, cryptographically verifying their authenticity, and sharing public proof that media has not been altered after capture.

## Public Verification

Verified captures have public verification pages accessible to anyone with the link, three-word code, or hash. Verified captures constitute a voluntary publication by the user.

## Acceptable Use

Users must not abuse, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or use automated systems to access the service without permission. Users must not upload or share illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable content.

## Verification Limits

ProveIT verifies that a photo or video has not been altered since capture within the app. It does not verify the truthfulness, accuracy, or broader context of the content depicted.

## Account Deletion

Users may delete accounts from app settings. Personal identifiers can be removed, while verified public proof records, three-word codes, public verification pages, and immutable blockchain records may remain.
