# ProveIT Privacy Policy

ProveIT processes account information, captured or uploaded media, authenticity and provenance data, device-security signals, and technical information needed to operate the service.

## Public Verification

Some ProveIT features intentionally create public verification records. Public records can include verification pages, proof metadata, hashes, timestamps, content credentials, blockchain-related records, and downloadable proof assets when a user chooses to publish or share them.

## Data Use

ProveIT uses information to:

- Operate capture, upload, verification, sharing, reporting, and support features.
- Generate authenticity and provenance metadata.
- Maintain security, device integrity, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
- Communicate with users about accounts, service changes, security, and support.

## Retention

Verification records may remain available where needed for proof integrity, support, abuse prevention, public verification, embedded provenance, backups, or immutable systems such as blockchain records.

Users may control optional permissions and attribution settings in the app, and may request privacy help by contacting support@proveit-app.com.
